Our Process
Tailored AGV Planning
Rocrich AGV Solutions has a detailed, 6-step process for finding the best solutions for our customers. This protocol starts with a few simple questions and ends with the Rocrich team of experts making a recommendation.
STEP 1
Gather Information
First, we gather some basic information to find the scope of the project. This includes operational hours, operational environment (for example, floor conditions), load dimensions and weight, as well as throughput. We also ask for a copy of the warehouse drawings (DWG file) and determine if a WMS (warehouse management system) is in use.
STEP 2
Budgetary Proposal
Our sales manager will outline a preliminary scope, recommend the number of AGVs, and provide an investment summary. This document helps your team review and understand the proposed solution. Refinements and updates to the Budgetary Proposal are common during your decision process.
STEP 3
Site Visit
As we move toward providing a binding proposal, we will conduct a site visit with our Solutions Engineer to confirm and document the application, specifications, and the total material handling flow that is to be automated.
STEP 4
Solution Technical Review
After the site visit has been completed, we use an internal process to review the entire project and ensure that our proposed solutions will meet the application requirements.
STEP 5
Binding Proposal
After the site visit has been completed, we use an internal process to review the entire project and ensure that our proposed solutions will meet the application requirements.
STEP 6
Project Contract
Finally, we’ll work through all the commercial terms and execute the project contract and get to work!
