Your Mobile Automation Team for racking applications
Rocrich is your mobile automation team for racking applications in North America.
Racking, or pallet racking, is a materials handling solution designed to store palletized goods on metal racks. A simple enough idea, but the applications can be wildly different. There are multiple varieties of racking, each with their own use case, and finding the right solution for your operation is a significant and important task—one that requires both flexibility and expertise to ensure you have a racking system that is a source of efficiency in your overall workflows, not an obstacle to success. You need a team of automation specialists who understand your challenges and are ready with proven technology to help you achieve your business goals and meet your specific needs.

Aisle Width and Load Type
Our AGVs can operate in a wide variety of aisle widths, starting with very narrow aisles (VNA) at 72-84 inches and moving up from there. Because of our real-world installation experience and wide portfolio of AGVs, we can also handle a large assortment of load types and sizes. Chances are, whatever you are handling, and whatever size your aisles are, we have a holistic AGV solution that can meet your need
Rack Types
We also can interact with a wide variety of racking, including racking designed for manual trucks. Our tolerances are in the millimeters, so tight fits are no problem. In terms of racking types, we can interact with selective single deep (pallets on racks laid out back-to-back with a forklift aisle in the between); gravity flow (pallets are loaded from behind and gravity moves them into picking position); pushback (loading the new pallet pushes the older pallet to the back) and drive-in (the AGV drives into the racking). Our ability to handle multiple load types, plus offer side-shifting and/or tilt functions to interact with the racks that need it, provides increased flexibility in planning a new racking system.
